My work captures images by using my phone, the camera built into my phone to be exact. This camera has been my eye for capturing unique imagery for the last ten years. The iPhone, or phone in general, has become a very fast and easy way for me to capture images on a daily basis and has allowed me to experiment with many different ways of seeing.
Almost all of my photos are taken with the iPhone and manipulated with only iPhone applications keeping it within the restraints of the technology provided. Limitations such as a fixed lens, and auto exposure create the rules of my work and make capturing daily images fun and challenging. Over time the "limitations" of the phone have gotten less "limited" but none-the-less, it is still fun and challenging to see the type of images produced with this camera verse an expensive digital SLR or mirrorless camera.
Many of the photos tell a story of how I see the world on a daily basis and would consider these images as a ongoing lifelong process.
